Hello support,
May i know how to print Journal Voucher in QuickBooks Desktop? I notice the "Print"function in the Journal page will come out a preview of the Transaction Journal Report. But how can i get a Journal Voucher which can allow someone to sign? Thanks.
I've got an alternative method you can perform to print a journal voucher that can allow someone to sign through QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @Christinehe.
Currently, the option to print a journal voucher is unavailable in the program. That's why the Transaction Journal report becomes a preview when using the "Print" function in the Journal page.
I'd suggest looking for a third-party app that can integrate with QuickBooks. This way, you'll be able to print a journal voucher that can allow someone to sign. I'll guide you how.
Once done, I recommend running the Transaction Journal report. It lets you view the debits, credits, amounts, and accounts not visible from the transaction itself. For more details, visit this article: Transaction Journal Report. This link is specific to the US region, but it also applies to SG.
I'll be right here to help if you need anything else. Take care always, @Christinehe.
You need to purchase a 3rd party JV app to integate with your QB Desktop.
Hello Fiat Lux,
So is it same applied to Payment Vouchers? I found payment voucher also can not be customized and print out.
QB doesn't provide any "approval" feature. You have to apply a 3rd party app to print out any voucher (e.g JV, payment voucher).
