custom fields & Spreadsheet Sync

Hi there.

I'd be glad to share insights about the custom fields feature in QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Once you add a custom field in the customer's profile, this will only show in QuickBooks and won't apply on Spreadsheet Sync and Power bi. This is the reason why it's not showing on the reports when syncing your data.

I suggest sending this suggestion to our developers. This way, they can review your request and help improve the product. Simply follow these steps to send your feedback:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top and click Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, select Next to submit feedback.

You can also track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Also, check out this article as your reference to guide you in resolving common errors when using Spreadsheet Sync: Spreadsheet Sync troubleshooting. Please know that this is intended for QBO US, but it can still be applied to your region.

By the way, I noticed that your Community username appears to contain your company ID, and I wanted to bring this to your attention for security reasons. You'll want to consider updating it to something that doesn't directly reveal personal or identifiable information. This helps protect your account from potential unauthorized access and safeguards your privacy.

Please know that I am here to support you every step of the way. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks for your reply.

Could you please clarify as to "Select the Gear icon at the top and click Feedback." - at the top of what)?

Hello there.

I want to ensure you're able to change your username in QuickBooks. Therefore, I would like to ask which area of the platform would you like to change your username. Is it the QuickBooks Community? Any additional details will help me provide the appropriate resolution for your issue.

Keep me updated in the comments below. Hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Take care and stay safe!

Safeguarding your personal data is essential in today's digital landscape, Andriy.

When choosing a username, ensure that it doesn't directly disclose identifiable information. This precautionary measure enhances the overall security of your account.

Furthermore, note that your username must be at least two characters long. You can use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscore. I'll be glad to walk you through the steps in updating it:

  1. Click your Community profile.
  2. Select the Edit option.
  3. Head to the Username tab, then modify the details.
  4. Hit Change username to confirm the action.
