Before linking an account to online banking, you need to create the account and then connect your bank in QBO.
Here's how:
- Click Banking.
- On the Banking page, select Add Account.
- Search for your financial institution and select it from the list.
- Enter your User or Login ID and password for the financial institution's website and hit Continue.
- Complete the security verification steps your financial institution requires and click Securely connect.
- Tap the Account type dropdown menu to choose either a Bank or Credit Card account. If you haven't already created the account, you can select +Add new to create a new account.
- Select Connect
