Has the connection between Capitec Business and Quickbooks been fixed?

The connectivity issue with Capitec Business Bank is still ongoing, @lisa149.

 

You will receive an email notification as soon as there is an update or once the issue has been resolved. In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online to keep your books updated.

 

First, access your bank's website, download the required transactions, and then upload them into your company file. Then, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then Upload from the file.


     
  4. Select the Drag and drop or select files to upload the saved file of your transactions.
  5. In the Select account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into and click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns in the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select Yes and Done.

Now that your transactions have been entered into QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. You need to review them before they can be added to your accounts.
