I cannot connect my client's ABSA bank account. She accesses ABA via personal profile. I think the QB URL //www.absa.co.za/ is incorrect? should have personal/ too?

I have double checked login credentials. Keep getting error code 103.

Good to see you here, johan-jcmaritz-c.

I'm here to make sure you'll be able to connect your client's bank account in QuickBooks Online.

If you've recently changed the bank sign-in credentials information, make sure to update them as well in QuickBooks. This is to ensure the data matches between these two programs.

The following are the primary reasons why you receive an Error 103:

  • You have entered the wrong credentials while trying to connect to your financial institution for the first time.
  • You have selected the wrong financial institution (there are often many to select from).
  • If you are currently connected and you’ve updated your credentials with your financial institution, you need to update the information in QuickBooks Online.

To update your login information:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking, and choose Banking.
  2. Locate the card for the account that generated Error 103.
  3. Select the pencil icon.
  4. Select Edit sign-in info.
  5. Enter your new credentials and select Update.
