I have been trying to connect to Standard bank to set up my QB account but have received a "Bank Connection Down" message for over a week. any suggestions?

I have been trying to connect to Standard bank to set up my QB account but have received a "Bank Connection Down" message for over a week. any suggestions?

Hi carrollcbolling-!

 

I understand that you need to link your Standard Bank account to QuickBooks Online. Let me assist you.

 

I checked our records and found that this issue has been reported already and our team is now fixing it. I suggest you reach out to our Support Team so they can add your details to the investigation. That way, you'll receive updates about this issue:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "Standard Bank: Bank Connection Down".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose a way to connect with them.

 

In the meantime, you can manually upload the transactions. All you need is a supported file that you can import to QuickBooks Online.

 

Once done, you can match and categorise the imported transactions. Then, reconcile them.
