Glad to have you here in the Community, @kwolhuter.
I'm here to help ensure your Standard Bank account will be connected to QuickBooks Online (QBO). And I'm here to provide some troubleshooting steps to sort it out.
One of the possible reasons why the lists of bank accounts are greyed out is that the browser you're using had a data issue. To verify, let's log in to your QBO account using a private browser. To do so, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
Once logged in, go back and try to connect your Standard Bank account again to double-check. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.
Once you're able to connect your bank account, QuickBooks will automatically download your 90 days bank transactions. Then, you can categorize them to put them into the correct accounts.
Let me know how it goes, @kwolhuter. I want to make sure this is taken care of.
