Standard Bank feeds

Greetings, rav.

Beforehand, may I ask if you encountered a specific error while downloading your bank data? This way, I'll be able to provide you with an accurate resolution.

I'll also add the possible reason why you're having problems with importing your transactions into the program:

  • Your bank is doing some system maintenance.
  • There are notifications or updates from your financial institution that need your attention.

First, we can log in to your bank's website to review if there are alerts, announcements, or system maintenance issues to further check if this is what's causing the issue.

Then, we can go back to the program and perform a manual update. Follow the indicated steps:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Update
  3. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  4. Hit Continue update.

In the meantime, we can manually upload your bank transactions via CSV file

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then choose Bank transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions to.
  3. Hit the Link account dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Choose Drag and drop or select files, and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then click Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, pick the account you want to upload the transactions to. Then hit Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Select Yes.
  9. Click Done.

Once done, we can categorize your transactions to put them in the appropriate accounts.

You can comment below if you have more inquiries about managing your bank data. We're one post away. Keep safe!
