Is there a problem with the servers? whenever I try to add my bank it states securing connection and then goes to white screen. Please advise, this leaves me with a useless service right now.

I've checked here, and I'm unable to find any open investigation going on specific to your region. Let's start with some browser troubleshooting to determine if the problem is system-related.
Please access QuickBooks via a private browser to distinguish where the issue is originating. I'm adding the shortcut keys depending on what you're using:
If it works, I suggest going back to your regular browser and clear its cache. For your reference, I'm also attaching the article about QuickBooks Online system requirements, such as the supported browsers:
