Hi How can I get a credit card to appear as a bank account so I can import transactions . Its loaded as a bank

Good to see you here in the Community, lt-moorejhb-co-z.

You'll need to create bank account to link in the Chart of Accounts (COA) so can use it in connecting QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear and then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select New, then choose the Bank Account type and other necessary information.
  3. Click Save and Close.

For the meantime, you can try to manually upload your bank transactions to your account. You can follow the steps below for the process:

  1. Select the Transaction menu and then select Banking.
  2.  In File upload, select Upload transactions.
  3. Choose Browse and click the CSV file.
  4. Select Open, then select Next.
  5. From the QuickBooks Account drop-down list, select the bank or credit card account, then click Next.
  6. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks. Make sure the DateDescription, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks. You can choose 1 column or 2 columns depending on your CSV template format.

In the meantime, you can add your transactions from the bank by downloading them from your online banking account, then importing it to your QBO account. Here's more information: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online
