Before anything else, did you receive an error message upon trying to connect your Standard bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Any additional information would help us provide the best resolution based on the error received.
In the meantime, I'll share possible causes why you can't connect your bank account to QBO. Here are some of them:
To verify if the issue is from your bank's end, I suggest logging in to their website. This way, you can check if there are alerts or ongoing maintenance that are hindering connection with QBO.
You also update your bank account manually from the Banking page to refresh the connection between your bank and QBO. Here's how:
