CAN I PUT A LINE ITEM BEFORE THE BALNCE DUE ON THE INVOICE

I can share some information about customizing your invoice template, @info-orlinamix-c.

You can add Discount value/percent and Deposit before the Balance due. After setting up your VAT in the invoice, there'll be an automatic calculation of the VAT for each of your products and services. However, the option to add a line item for your VAT Total is currently unavailable.

However, you may consider creating a new template for your invoice to add these fields. Let me show you how:

First, turn on the import style feature from your QuickBooks labs:

  1. Go to your Gear icon and click on QuickBooks Labs.
  2. On the page that appears, toggle to On the option for Import Styles

Once you're done, open a Word document and start creating your format. Take note of the field codes of your file. These are the keywords that can ease the process of mapping QBO data to dynamic parts of the template.

For more information about this, go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles. Click the New style dropdown to choose Import Style. Lastly, choose to download a sample for detailed instruction. You can also import the template that you created from here.
