How do I set up a rate per customer?

I have product A.  But the price differs between customers.  How do I set up a price for product A unique to each customer.  Also how do I set up an hourly rate unique to each customer (i.e it differs per customer)?

How do I set up a rate per customer?

Good day to you, @zeldeen. Setting up unique prices and hourly rates for your customers would be a great addition to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Allow me to provide you with some insights on this feature.

QuickBooks allows you to adjust the prices and rates each time you track your customers' transactions. I recognize the importance of setting customized prices and hourly rates for your customers. The option is unavailable now. The good news is that you can always look for a third-party application that could assist you in handling your products and services that way. To start:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Tap on Apps at the left pane, then select Find Apps.
  3. Start your search from there.

I also suggest sending this idea to our product developer team. This way, they'll know how useful this feature is for your business and consider this in future updates.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Hit Next.

Once done, you may track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

On the other hand, I'm adding these materials for more hints while managing your items and customers in our system:

If you have any questions about setting up your customers and products, let me know by leaving a comment below. I'm just a few clicks away to help you once more. Stay safe!
