HOW TO CREATE PRO-FORMA INVOICE

QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not have a dedicated feature for creating Pro-forma Invoices. However, you can use the Quote sales form and customize its layout to work similarly to a Pro-forma Invoice.
 

Here’s how you can do it:
 

1. Click the Gear Icon in your QBO account.
2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
3. In the New style dropdown menu, choose Quote.
   
   

You will then be directed to a page where you can personalize its Design, Content, and Emails. We recommend renaming the template to Pro-forma Invoice (or another relevant name) to avoid confusion.
