I DELETED A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT IN ERROR. I NEED TO BRING IT BACK. HOW DO I DO THIS?

Welcome to the Community space, @accounts585. We'll help you retrieve the customer account you deleted inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

In QBO, you can only set a customer's profile to inactive and not entirely deleted inside the company. To reactivate a customer's profile, these are the steps:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, click Customers & Leads tab.
  3. Click the Gear icon beside the Export icon.
  4. Tick the box beside Include inactive.
  5. Once done, locate the customer you wish to restore the profile and then click Make active below the Action. column.
