New User - How do I display my VAT # on my Invoices & Quotes? Have entered it on my Company settings but it is not showing on my Invoices or Quotes?

Welcome to QuickBooks Community, userqbo1.

There is a field where you can add the Business (CIPC) Reg. No. on the invoice or quote, but not the VAT. Instead, we can create a custom field and enter the VAT number from there. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
  2. Find the invoice/quote template you're using and click Edit.
  3. From the Content tab, click the header section (top part) of the preview.
  4. Click + Custom field, check one of the boxes, and name it VAT. Tap Done to save it.

Once you create an invoice or quote, you can enter the VAT number in that field. You can check the detailed steps here on how to make your sales forms more presentable: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
