The complete supplier list and customer lists is not showing - it shows I need to create the list

If I go to the old invoices they are there but not in the saved list

The complete supplier list and customer lists is not showing - it shows I need to create the list

Hi there. Let's configure your account to verify the cause of the issue and fix it immediately.

 

To start, let's verify that the customers and suppliers are not inactivated. If they are set to this status, you can't view the names on the Customers or Suppliers page. Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Sales menu and choose Customers (For the supplier list, select Expenses and choose Suppliers).
  2. From there, click the small gear icon.
  3. Next, check the Include inactive box.
  4. If verified, just select the Make Active button to inactivate them again. 

 

If this is not the case, I suggest running your QBO account via incognito mode to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

 

Once signed in, check the customer and supplier lists again. If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate the piled-up data that might cause the issue. If not, you can use another supported browser or device. Might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
