VAT IS INCLUSIVE ON THE INVOICE, WHEN PRINTED THE AMOUNTS ARE VAT EXCLUSIVE, WHY?

Hi there, rietvalleivet.

I'll help you show the VAT amount when printing an invoice. If you need to show the customer's VAT number, make sure to mark the VAT registration number from the settings.

Let me show you how to do it.

  1. From the left navigation bar, choose Taxes.
  2. Click the Edit VAT drop-down menu and then click Edit Settings.
  3. Check if the VAT registration number is already entered. If not, type in the number in the field.
  4. After that, click on Save.

If you need to show your company's VAT number, you can customize the invoice, and add the number using the footer.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then choose Custom Form Styles.
  2. Select the template, then click Edit.
  3. Choose the Content tab and then click on the bottom part of your template.
  4. On the Add footer text field, type in the VAT number.
  5. Click on Done.

Once done, you can open the invoice and check if the VAT number will show when printing the form. If not, you can delete and re-create the invoice for changes to take effect.

I'm adding these articles to guide you through updating the VAT number or paying taxes in QuickBooks.

Get back to me if there's anything else you need. I'll be right here to help you.
