To clarify, did you receive any error messages when mailing the purchase order? While waiting for the information, let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate this unusual behavior.

 

You can start by opening the company file using the incognito mode or private window. This special browsing mode operates without the use or collection of cache files, which sometimes cause issues in QuickBooks.

 

Here’s how:

 

  • Internet Explorer and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  •  Safari: Command + Shift + N
  •  Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N

If you’re able to email the transaction without any issues, clearing the cache of the regular browser will optimize its overall performance. Once done, try sending the purchase order again and make sure to select the Save and send button.

 

I also suggest setting the Intuit’s service-related email addresses as a safe sender or whitelist it on your vendors’ account. This way, they can receive important messages from Intuit.
