Why is the background of my invoice black when i send it via WhatsApp

To begin with, if you're sending invoices through a web browser to WhatsApp, please ensure that you've updated your Adobe Reader/Acrobat. If you've already updated it, and the invoice still has a black background, I suggest performing browser troubleshooting. Issues like this are usually the result of accumulated cache.

 

We can start by accessing your account through a private browser. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open a private window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

 

On the other hand, if you're sending an invoice through a mobile app, let's perform a mobile app troubleshooting.

 

Android:

  1. Go to your device’s Settings and select Apps (the location may vary by device).
  2. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
  3. Select Storage and tap Clear Data.

iOS:

  1. Navigate to Settings, select General, and then click iPhone Storage.
  2. Find an app that’s taking up a lot of space and choose Offload App.
