How do I access payroll on QuickBooks Plus?

Right now, QuickBooks Online International version doesn't have a payroll function, that's why you're unable to access it in the system.

 

If you're using a third-party payroll service, you'll need to manually enter payroll transactions using a journal entry. Here's how:

  1. Click New ⨁.
  2. Select Journal Entry.
  3. Under Date, select the payroll payment(s) date.
  4. (Optional) Input Entry # for journal entry.
  5. Enter Debit and Credit accounts.
  6. Click Make Recurring.
  7. Enter a memorable Template Name and set Template Type to Unscheduled; click Save Template.
  8. Click Save.
