How to group recurring transactions into batches?

We appreciate you for posting here in the Community, Rebecca. I'll be glad to share information about grouping recurring transactions into batches in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, the option to group the recurring transactions by date isn't available in QBO. However, you can customise your Recurring Template List Report to show the Previous Date and the Next Date column on the list.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Transactions tab and select Recurring Transactions.
  3. From the Reminder List dropdown, click Run Report.
  4. Select Transaction Type from the Group By dropdown and click Run Report.
  5. Click on the small Gear icon in your template.
  6. Put a checkmark on the Previous Date and Next Date box.
  7. In the Memo/Description section, you may also check the Create Date and End Date box.
  8. Click Save Customisation.

Please refer to this article for more information: Review your recurring transactions in QBO.

Moreover, this article can help you learn how to record credit card payments in QBO: Manage credit card payments.

Stay in touch if you have additional QuickBooks queries. I'll be right here to help you.
