All i want is to simply get my accounting practice books from 2020 desktop to online and then move 300 clients over to the online as well. i have 3 client set up already on online. i tried to do the migration myself and quick books failed it and so i followed the SA QB advice and uploaded to the migration (i have been able to migrate successfully with the other clients) USA QB every 3rd day send me stupid questions and assure me they are working on it - really nearly 3 weeks to sort out - n one seems to know what going on and when i send emails to the SA QB staff they remain silent. i have been a QuickBooks reseller for 20 years and personally use quick books. this whole exercise is holding up receipt bank with quickbooks and holding up me billing clients - i have no choice but to go back to desktop
I hear your sentiments, and I can see the need to get these taken care of, @andrew70. With this, I'm here to point you in the right direction. That way, you're able to transfer both your accounting practice books and 300 clients' data from desktop to the online version.
I know you've contacted us multiple times to help you complete the conversion process. We want this resolved as soon as possible so you can move forward in using QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA).
Please know that it's our main priority to provide quality customer experience. And we appreciate the feedback you've shared. Since this process requires pulling up your account, I'd still suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. You can share your existing case numbers to them so they can review your previous conversations. This way, they can follow-up to your migration request and take action from there.
Once converted, I recommend confirming your 300 clients' company settings, reconciling their bank transactions, and checking their GST/VAT returns. It helps ensure their data are accurate and up to date in the software. For more details, see this article's Post-conversion tasks section: FAQs About Transferring Data From QBDT And Other Applications.
You can always visit this website: Practice Management FAQs. It provides you answers to the frequently asked questions about managing your clients and workflows for your accounting practice while using QBOA.
I'll lend a helping hand if you need anything else. Take care always, @andrew70.
I would love to check your account to see the update of your case from your previous call. However, we're unable to do it here in the Community space.
In this case, I would contact our QuickBooks Technical Support. This way, we can do follow and escalate further. Here's how to reach out.
Come back to this thread if you have other questions or concerns. We're always here for you. Thanks for coming by and have a good one.
