I accidently deleted a client from my "subscribed" client list. The client is able to access their profile but I am not. How do I reinstate this client?

I'll share information and guidelines to help reinstate your client.

If you can't open a client's company file or you don't see them on your client list, don't worry. Here's how to check if a client's company is connected and what to do if it isn't.

  1. In QuickBooks Online Accountant, go to the Clients menu.
  2. Look for your client's name.
  3. Look for the QuickBooks symbol next to their name.

If the QuickBooks symbol is not visible, the company is not linked. You can request your client to send you an invitation to connect.

On the other hand, if your client is on the list but marked as inactive, follow these steps to make them active. After activation, you can ask them to invite you again to reconnect with their QuickBooks company.

You can also visit this article you can use in the future: Manage clients in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

I'd be happy to hear any updates after performing the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Don't hesitate to reach us again. Have a great day ahead!
