I have closed my company down. How do I export my company data from Quickbooks so I can end my subscription?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can export multiple reports and lists into individual Excel files contained in a single zip file. You can check this article to see the different reports and lists that can be exported from QBO: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Export data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
  5. Select Export to Excel.

 

Afterward, you'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported.

You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data to a free accounting app to preserve your historical data.
