Access to my simple start 2008 progamme is blocked

I cannot open my programme it has ERROR 3371, STATUS CODE -11118.

Please can anyone assist , I have tried entering the license number, Re-running the disc but no success.

Solution 1: QuickBooks Desktop 2008 is a discontinued product. That means you need to have a supported version of QuickBooks and ensure you have the latest updates. Here's how:
 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select Update Now, then choose Get Updates.
  3. Once done, close and reopen QuickBooks.
  4. Pick Yes when asked to install the update
     

Solution 2: Run the QuickBooks Tool Hub to diagnose, fix any issues and resolve common errors.
 

  1. Close QuickBooks and download the most recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
