I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot account activation in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To assist you effectively, could you clarify what type of activation you're referring to?

 

If this concerns your QBO account, you'll be prompted to resubscribe upon signing in to your QBO company. Alternatively, you can follow these steps to activate your account:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then select Subscriptions and billing under Profile.
  2. Choose Resubscribe, then enter the updated billing information.
  3. Click Resubscribe.

 

If you're referring to the chart of accounts and want to reactivate an inactive account, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the Settings (gear icon) above the account list.
  3. Check the box for Include inactive.
  4. Locate the inactive account.
  5. Click the dropdown arrow next to Run report or the action menu.
  6. Select Make active.

Hello there, Westron. Activating your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account depends on what you're seeing on your screen.

 

If you can log in to your QBO account but encounter a message stating your account is inactive or cancelled, please click the Resubscribe or Update billing info button and follow the prompts to reactivate your account.

However, if you're not seeing these options but can still log in and navigate your QBO account, you can follow the steps provided by my colleague about resubscribing to QBO.

 

On the other hand, if you're about enable a specific add-on feature, such as QuickBooks Bill Pay, Payments, or Payroll inside your QBO account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and pick Subscription and billing.
  2. Select the Activate, Set it up, or Find out more button to activate your chosen add-on feature.
