Good day, kbfholdings,
Adding SKU number to a delivery note is unavailable. However, you can create an invoice template and make it look like a delivery note.
Since SKU appears on invoices, it's much better to do it that way. You can follow these steps:
Whenever you need to print or send a Delivery Note, open the invoice to edit. Click Customise at the bottom, and select Delivery Note. You can click on Print or Preview to check how it looks.
If you want to learn more form customisation, check this article: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1768656.
Let me know if you have additional questions related to this.
Hi but a delivery not is like a packing slip it should not show total cost or any pricing at the bottom.
how can you create a one without cost on there
Thanks for joining this thread, KrysIssa.
I understand that you need to print a delivery note without a cost.
We can create and print a delivery note in QuickBooks Online. However, we're unable to customise it. You'll want to look for a third-party app that can be integrated into QuickBooks Online and can generate a delivery note.
Also, I'll pass this to our developers so they may add an option to edit it.
Post again here if you need anything else. Stay safe!
Thank you,i have tried and was unable to find a third party if you know of amy please let me know,

It is essential that SKU appear on a delivery note, as how can the customer then book in the product you have sold them from the delivery note? It also needs a space for the customers order number. Surely this is an easy fix for Quickbooks, just a couple of added fields in the delivery note template.
I'm having to hand write the customer order number and SKU (product code) onto the delivery note and it doesn't look very professional
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, Marc.
I can see how the functionality of directly adding an SKU number in a delivery note would be beneficial to your business. However, this option is unavailable in the program at this time.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your delivery notes in QBO. It's always my pleasure to help you out again. Keep safe!
SKU is a basic requirement in a delivery note. My warehouse is spending more time reading the description and looking for the SKU. How can QB not have such a basic info for so many years? We are already in 2024! Please fix this!!!
