How do I load two different companies on one quickbooks app on my phone to enable me to manage both companies through one app on one phone

Welcome to the Community space, theuns.

Accessing your companies simultaneously isn't possible in one mobile app. However, you can easily switch between different companies and access them one at a time.

For iOS devices:

  1. From the main menu, select Settings
  2. Choose Switch Company.
  3. Select a different company.

For Android devices:

  1. From the homepage, select the hamburger menu.
  2. Select the All tab. You'll see the Switch company option toward the bottom.
  3. Choose a different company.

How do I load two different companies on one quickbooks app on my phone to enable me to manage both companies through one app on one phone

I have two companies with the same user name that I can switch between on the computer app, but cannot do so on the mobile app.  How do I get the mobile app to recognize both companies?

As long as you use the same login credentials for both QuickBooks companies, switching between them on the mobile app should work just as it does on the computer, Gardien600. Since this isn't happening, let's explore some troubleshooting steps to rectify the issue.

First, log out of your QuickBooks app and then log back in to refresh the system. Next, clear the app data on your mobile device to reset it to its default state. This is similar to clearing the cache in your web browser.

If you're using iOS, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Menu, and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Click Refresh to confirm.

Otherwise, refer to this instruction for Android:

  1. Go to Menu, then select More Options.
  2. Tap Settings, and click Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

If the issue remains, uninstall and reinstall the mobile app to ensure you get the latest version of the QuickBooks app.
