iNVOICES AND QUOTES

Hi there, @DB ELECTRO.

The option to add another specific column for branch numbers in invoice templates is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. For now, the available columns the system allows are the following:

  • Date
  • Product/Service
  • Description
  • Quantity
  • Rate
  • Amount
  • SKU

I can see the importance of having this feature when personalising your invoices and quotes. Therefore, I'll take note of this as a suggestion to improve your experience in the program.

Moreover, you can send feedback to our QuickBooks developer so they can review your request and most likely include them in future updates. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and click Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, select Next to submit feedback.

Please note that quantity and rate can be included under the Description column. If you check the Include Quantity and Rate box on your template, you won't be able to see separate columns for Quantity and Rate.

To view these columns, make sure to uncheck this box. Simply go to Settings and click Custom form styles. Look for your template and click Edit, then go to the Content section. Click the middle section of the template then uncheck the the Include Quantity and Rate box and select Done.

For additional reference about customising sales forms, just check out this resource: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QBO.

Also, you can upload logos in invoices or quotes to help establish your company's brand and personality.

If you have further questions about managing templates in QuickBooks, just add them to the thread. I'm here to assist you always. Have a good one.
