Parking receipts-refunds to employer

I'm here to help you capture your parking receipts so your employer can process a refund.


You can upload your parking receipts from your computer or Google Drive. Please note that we don’t recommend uploading receipts with sensitive or personal info, like credit card numbers and government identifiers.


Here's how:


  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online
  2. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Receipts.
  3. Select Upload from computer or Upload from Google Drive.
  4. Each image or file should only contain a single receipt or bill.

You can also email your receipt or bill to QuickBooks Online. We’ll extract info from it and create a transaction for you to review. 


Once done, you can inform your employer so they can issue a refund receipt for the parking fee. Let them follow the steps below:


  1. Click + New, then Refund receipt.
  2. Enter the name of the customer.
  3. Choose a bank from the Refund from field where you take the money from.
  4. Complete other fields, then click Save and close.
