Updating Invoice (Tracking Number) retrospectively

Good day to all,

Is it possible to retrospectively update the 'Tracking Number' field on an Invoice via an .xls or .csv file import containing:

Inv No, Tracking Number

9999, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Second field alpha/numeric(15)

Updating Invoice (Tracking Number) retrospectively

Thanks for reaching out to us, @Capstone-33.

Currently, you can only update the invoice number, but there is no direct way to retrospectively edit the tracking number of an invoice via a CSV file in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, I can guide you to search for a third-party importer tool to assist you in accomplishing this task. To do that:

  1. Go to Apps and select Find Apps.
  2. Search for a keyword in the search bar and press Enter.
  3. Select an app and click Get app now to integrate.

Additionally, QBO provides sufficient tools for creating professional-looking sales forms. This way, you can customise the layout and add specific information to your invoices.

Feel free to swing by the Community whenever you need additional assistance updating your invoice details in QBO. I'm always available to provide further help. Stay safe, and have a great rest of the day.
