Can I write my own reports?

Hello there, @Aliwal Dive Centre.

 

I'll share some information about running reports in QuickBooks Online.

 

You can customize reports in a variety of ways. You can filter them to display only certain accounts or clients or arrange the layout so that the appropriate data appears where it should. Here's how to modify reports so that they highlight the information that's most important to you.

 

  1. Go to Business overview and select Reports.
  2. Find and open a report.
  3. Use the basic filters to adjust things like the report dates.
  4. Select Customise in the top right-hand corner of the page.
  5. Click the Rows/Columns.
  6. Hit Change columns.
  7. Tick the checkbox for Description.
  8. Click Run report.
