Good day, I have a problem where my purchases do not update on my VAT report, is there a setting I must change for it to show on my VAT report?

Hello there, @impalafence.

 

To see the details of your VAT report, the tax should be included in the purchased items so that QuickBooks identify and can be reflected in the report. I'd be glad to guide you on checking if you have included the tax of the purchases.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in your credentials to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Hamburger icon and select the Reports tab.
  3. Search "Vat 100 REPORT", and customize the Report period
  4. Click Transaction Type and check if the Amounts are Inclusive of Tax so that it will reflect on the report.
  5. Select Save and close tab.
