Can VAT reports show Zero VAT transactions? If so, where do I change the setting for the VAT report?

Yes, VAT reports can show zero VAT transactions in QuickBooks, @lizev-srfinancia. And I'm happy to outline the detailed steps with you.

Customising the reports settings into zero VAT transactions is a few clicks of your mouse, and you'll be an expert in no time!

You can run the VAT Detail Report and filter the Rows/Columns to Tax Name and Tax RateDo the following:

  1. Go to the Report tab on the upper left pane.
  2. Type the mentioned report in the search box and press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Click the Customise button.
  4. Check the Tax Name and Tax Rate in the Rows/Columns section.
  5. Filter other information you want to show in the report.
  6. Click Run report

Thank you, however this is just on the Output side - I am looking for the Zero items on the Input VAT (expenses) side.
