My VAT period runs from1-12-2021 to 30-11-2022. When running a detailed VAT report sales inaccurate

When trying to get a detailed vat report for 12 month year from 1-12-2021 to 30-11-2022 it only gives me  a report for 3 months ie Jul,aug and Sept. How do I correct this? Previously I have never had this problem. I use Desktop 2020 and could always state the full period for the report.

I live in Namibia. My VAT period is for a whole year from1-12-2021 to 30-11-2022. When asking for a detailed VAT report I only get some months and also not all sales including zero and exempt rated.

Please kindly assist

I can help you with running your Vat Detail report, @Kuwinamab.

Try to check the report date range that you set in the report. Manually select the date by selecting the calendar icon in the From and To fields. Then, check the Report basis. An accrual basis report shows income whether or not your customers have paid your invoices and expenses whether or not you have paid all of your bills. A cash basis report only shows income if you have received cash and paid your expenses.

Here's more information on how you can customize the DisplayFiltersHeader/Footer tab, and Fonts & Numbers tab: Customise reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

To save the same settings of the customised report, consider memorising it for future use. Here's how to create, access, edit, delete, edit, and set up a memorised report group in QuickBooks Desktop: Create, access and modify memorised reports.

Let me know if you have further questions about your reports. I'm always here to help. Have a great rest of the day!
