Include Khmer text in invoice templates

We are required to include Khmer and English text in our invoices. In the past we could do this by importing a .docx invoice template but this is no longer possible (according to https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/reports-and-accounting/re-importing-custom-invoice...).

 

We've tried using the builtin invoice templates (following https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/customize-forms/customize-invoices-estimates-and-s...) and we can type in Khmer text and it looks fine in the editor but when we generate invoices or click "Preview" all the Khmer text is missing (or question marks) - see screenshot below.

Is it possible to use non-English characters in invoices? Surely we aren't the only ones in the world with this requirement?

 

We're on Quickbooks Online Advanced if it makes a difference.

Currently, the option to include the Khmer language in invoices is currently unavailable. We understand the importance of this feature for your business, and we encourage you to share your feedback with our product development team. Your input will be carefully considered for future updates to our product.

 

Here's how to send your request:
 

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, tap Next to submit feedback.

  

To keep track of the status of your feedback, you can visit our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website. This will help you stay informed and up-to-date on any progress made with your suggestions. 

 

You might want to consider exploring third-party applications. The Apps Center offers a wide range of software that can seamlessly integrate with QuickBooks, making adding non-English language to your invoice templates much simpler and enhancing your workflow. By giving these Apps a try, you can experience significant time and effort savings for yourself! 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Click the Apps and select Find apps. 
  2. In the search bar, look for the apps that fit your needs.
