Banking Download Error Message

Upon bank update, I am receiving the error message

"Your action is required: Please undo the highlighted transactions

Due to an issue with your bank data some income transactions were categorized as expense transactions. To correct this please go to the Categorized tab and undo the highlighted transaction"

I don't see any "highlighted" transactions under the Category tab - and everything looks ok.  What am I missing?

Banking Download Error Message

Hello, joist app.

I have some idea on what's going on with the error message on the Banking page.

We currently have a reported issue where this particular error message would appear in the Banking page. Our engineers are investigating why this happens even though the transactions are categorized properly.

In the meantime, I'd recommend reviewing your bank transactions again to ensure they categorized properly. Check this article for the complete steps: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Also, you'll want to contact our support so they can add you to the list of affected users. They'll ask your contact information and send you an email update once this is fixed. We're unable to get your details here since this is a public space however.

To reach them:

  1. Click the Help icon, then hit Contact Us
  2. Enter "Affected by issue. Reference number INV-49391" in the box.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. Choose how you want to contact us.

I appreciate your patience while our engineers are working hard to fix this as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have other concerns for QuickBooks Online. Leave your replies here and I'll get back to you to address them. Have a good day ahead.
