Welcome to the Community.
I am here to assist you in connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, I recommend manually updating your bank to refresh its connection with QuickBooks Online.
Meanwhile, have you tried opening the website in a private browsing window to check if it produces the same results? The large amount of data in the cache can cause QuickBooks Online to malfunction unexpectedly. We can perform basic browser troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.
You can use the shortcut keys below:
Once the private browsing window works, return to your standard browser to clear the cache and update outdated data. If you still see the same results in private browsing, try using other compatible browsers.
Also, I've attached an article you can visit to view the list of bank errors along with the descriptions and how to fix them in QuickBooks: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to comment below if you need further assistance connecting your bank account. I'm always glad to help in any way I can.
This is obviously a bug in quickbooks. I hereby ask you to correct this, this is the feature
which is most important to me. You can categorise me as an expert user, so I would like to ask you not to offer standard solutions. I have already performed all actions to determine that the bug is not on my site. For example, different browsers, operating systems, third-party cookie settings, browser privacy settings. I hereby ask you to take my request seriously and forward it to the responsible department.
Kindly regards
I see the urgency of your concern, mmmmk. Let me route you to the appropriate support.
Before anything, I appreciate you performing prior steps to verify if the issue lies on your site. But let me share some information about error 400.
Error 400 means that the server is unable to process the request being sent due to an issue that is perceived by the server (corrupted). I can guide you through performing a workaround to isolate the problem.
First, log in to your bank's website to check if you're getting the same error. If the issue persists, the error may be coming from your bank. You may reach out to them to investigate this further.
Alternatively, you can try manually updating your bank account to refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your financial institution.
However, I also suggest reaching out to our support team. They have the necessary tools to open your account and open an investigation if necessary.
Here's how we can contact support:
Lastly, I'll share this helpful article that I believe will be advantageous for you in the future: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you require any further assistance, please get in touch with us in the comment section of this thread. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Take care.
