Hong Kong BOC bank account connection

We failed to connect our BOC HK internet banking to the quickbook.

We did contact BOC HK for information, and said that the CBS Business Bank is being phased out the current used internet banking called IGTB. We put all IGTB login detail and try to connect to quickbook and not suceed

Hi there, Allen.

Can you tell us if you're getting an error message when adding your account via IGTB? Is there an error message? We're asking these questions to make sure that we are giving you the right steps and information to resolve the issue.

Please add more details in your reply. We look forward to it.

I'm here to ensure you get past the error message, Allen.

Error 103 occurs when the credentials inputted into QuickBooks Online do not correspond to what your financial institution has on file.

The following are the possible causes of Error 103:

  • You've entered the incorrect login credentials while trying to connect to your financial institution for the first time.
  • You've selected the wrong financial institution (there are often many to select from).
  • If you're currently connected and you’ve updated your credentials with your financial institution, you need to update the information in QuickBooks Online.

To help resolve this issue, ensure to enter your username and password manually instead of permitting the browser to auto-fill them. You can read this article for more insights about the process: Fix banking error 103 in QuickBooks Online.

In the meantime, you can manually download your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to match and categorise them.

Let me know if you have additional questions about banking issues. I'll be right here to lend a hand again.

Dear QBO,

We tried several time for inputing login information manually, however, error message 103 as a result.

I think the main idea of the error is BOC HK no longer support CBS login and has changed to IGTB. We tried once to login to the bank account via CBS online, however, the IGTB login detail is not for CBS online and failed.
We confirmed with BOC HK said that CBS online is being phased out, all new users will be asigned to IGTB instead of CBS online.

We are looking forward to QB system update to be connected to the IGTB.

We attahced the login screenshot for your reference.

@Allen Chan

Use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbp) as a workaround.
