How to link standard bank and NetBank

Linking and connecting banks in QuickBooks Online is super easy, Morapeli. Allow me to share the entire process with you.

First, make sure to set up the account in your Chart of Accounts. Here's how:

  1. Click New in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in the name of the account in the Account name field.
  3. Select Cash and cash equivalents in the Account Type, then choose the Bank for Detail Type.
  4. Fill in all remaining fields and select Save and Close.

After that, follow these steps on how to link the account:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, select Connect account. You can also select Link account if you have already linked an account before.
  3. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field.
  4. Select your bank, then type in your credentials in the Login and Password fields.
  5. Choose Continue and select the account that you want to connect and the date to pull transactions. Then, select Next.
  6. Choose the type of account in the drop-down list for Account type, then select Next.
  7. Follow the subsequent prompts to successfully sync your bank account.
