OUR KOTAK BANK IT'S NOT CONNECT YET CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK MANY THANKS

You can perform some troubleshooting steps to check your Kotak bank account's connection to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @accounts358. This way, you'll be able to start managing your transactions accordingly and make sure they're updated.

Based on your description of the issue above, it seems that you've already connected your Kotak bank accounts to the system's online banking feature. However, your bank transactions weren't automatically downloaded into your account.

Before we start with the troubleshooting steps, here are some of the possible reasons your Kotak Bank account isn't yet connected to QBO:

  • The banks are performing system maintenance.
  • There are notifications on your bank’s website that need your attention.

You can start by manually updating your bank accounts. This refreshes their connection within the QBO program. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the Banking tab.
  3. Click the Update button.
  4. (Optional) Follow the onscreen instructions for additional authentication.

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the first three steps.

Next, you can sign in to your bank's website. In your account page, check for messages or alerts that need your attention. In case you've updated your sign in or profile information, you'll have to manually update QuickBooks about it.

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to update.
  3. Click the Pencil icon.
  4. Choose either Edit sign in info or Edit account info.
  5. Input all the necessary details to complete the process.

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the first four steps.

Once you've successfully connected your Kotak bank accounts and downloads your transactions, you can categorise and match them against the entries in QuickBooks. To learn more about the categorization process, kindly refer to this article: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It includes details about excluding personal or duplicate transactions.

Additionally, I'd recommend reconciling your accounts every month. This way, you'll be able to make sure your account is matched with your real-life statements and detect any possible errors. For the step-by-step guide, kindly refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. It also contains information about editing completed reconciliations.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
