Having problem adding my accountant, appreciate your help to resolve this issue.

I'd be glad to assist you to successfully add your accountant to your QuickBooks Online company. I'd like to know more about the scenario while you're trying to add your accountant if you've received an error. This will help me identify the issue and provide a specific resolution. 

 

This process needs your accountant's cooperation so that they can be added to your company right away. You can ask for the complete email address and let your accountant know that they need to verify it on their email to confirm their access.

 

If you've added your accountant, you can verify it if they've confirmed it. The status will become Active if it's they've confirmed it, if not it will remain as Invited. If there there are some details that are not correct, you can remove and recreate the entry again. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings, select Manage users.
  2. Find the accountant you want to remove.
  3. Click on the arrow dropdown ▼ in the Action column and then Delete.
  4. Select Remove to confirm.
  5. Once done, select Add user, then Company Admin
  6. Select This user is my accountant and click Next.
  7. Enter your accountant’s name and email, then Save.

 

After following the steps above, your accountant will receive an email about the verification. After they'll confirm it, the status will change to Active. For more information, you can check out this article: Add an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online.
