Hi Experts,
How can I design an inventory tags of 35mmx25mm size ? is it even possible by using print designer window?
Thank you,
Dwija
Welcome to Community @Dwijadas,
Are you using QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale? If so, the ideal tag and label sizes were from 4" x 3" and 4" x 6". However, you can check out our QuickBooks Checks and Supplies page for the available tags or label sheets that are Avery compatible.
Check them out at this link here: https://intuitmarket.intuit.com/supplies/labels/laser-labels.
That'll do it. Let me know if you have other question or concerns, or if you're referring to something else. I'd be around to assist you. Thanks for coming in today, and I wish you have a great weekend ahead.
Hi ShiellaGrace,
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my query.
I want to print individual label using zebra printer. The printer is capable of printing 35x25mm Labels.
There is no option to create a label size of 1x1 1/3 label from Desktop pos software.
How can I create a new label template of this size and import it into the Quick books pos? Can I use zebra label designer to create a new label and import into the software ? Or how can I define a new label size ?
Is this even possible?
Regards,
Dwija
Thanks for getting back to us, Dwija.
In QuickBooks, the supported size templates are 1" x 4", 2/3" x 3 7/16", 1" x 2 5/8", and
1/2" x 1 3/4. Aside from that, the compatible printer devices are any standard Windows laser or Inkjet printer.
If your Zebra printer is ZD410 and it has a USB port, then we can use it. We’ll only have to make sure that the document meets the required size template.
Feel free to tag me if you still need help. Keep safe!
Hi Adrian,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have attached an image on what I am trying to get. Also exported one "Inventory Tags" hoping that I may be able to amend the size and import back. But the exported template layout is not easy to edit unless I know how it can be edited or prepared.
First, we should have the label available in QB POS then we can see what the printer can do.
Let me know if there is any way I can achieve this?
Glad to have you back to this thread, Dwijadas.
I appreciate the screenshot you've added along with the details of your query.
I see you've put so much time and effort into this. As my colleagues shared above, we can only apply changes to the supported template size of the inventory tags. It's best to connect to one of our POS specialists. This way, you'll be given the right way to edit or create a new label of the downloaded template. Also, they might share with you a workaround to make this template size possible in a simple way.

Hi Dwija,
Were you able to figure out how to customize label sizes? We are trying to do the same + running into walls on how to do so.
Thank you!
Regards,
Nikki
I couldn't work on this. I am using a 3rd party label software. I know it's a pain.
I think it's impossible to design a custom label to work with QuickBooks POS
