My company has 2 owners, I need to add the other owner..first question do I have to add myself or did that happen in the get started process? Second question why in step 2 do I not get the proper screen when I click on new?

When you purchase a subscription or sign up for a free trial, you'll go through the QuickBooks setup process. You don't need to add yourself as a user.
Yes, you're right. During the Get Started process, you're already granted access as the primary admin of the account (see screenshot below). You can verify it by clicking the Gear icon and selecting Manage users.
In case you need the steps on how to add the second owner, here's how:
Issues with the screen may occur if there's a problem with the browser. I recommend checking out the system requirements for QBO to ensure it runs smoothly.
If you see a problem on your screen, the browser's stored cache may be full. It can cause unusual behavior, such as issues with the display.
I'd first suggest logging into your account using a private browser. It's a great way to isolate browser-related issues. If you're using Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press the CTRL + Shift + P shortcut on your keyboard. For Safari, hit Command + Shift + N. Press CTRL + Shift + N if you're using Google Chrome.
If it works fine in private mode, let's switch back to the regular browser and clear its cache & historical data. It helps to restore the default setup of the browser.
If private browsing doesn't work, use another supported web engine to get the best and most secure experience.
