Welcome to QuickBooks Community, appu-m-karajegi.
You can import transactions from the linked bank account in QuickBooks using the the WebConnect feature. This is a process where you download the data from your bank's website and import them to QBO.
First, download the transactions from your bank. To do that, just login to your bank or credit card’s website and follow your bank’s instructions on how to download transactions to your computer.
Then, review the file format. You can choose either of these two format:
Once done, you can start uploading the transactions.
Here's how:
Here's an article for more information about the process of Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
If you want to import transactions from CVS file, you can follow the steps outlined in this article: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.
Should you be needing more help from me, just leave a reply below. I'd be more than happy to assist. Have a great rest of the day!
Hello @CHEERLA,
Welcome to the Community. Let me share some information about importing general ledger in QuickBooks.
Currently, you can only import general ledger accounts from Excel into the system. For your transactions, you'll need to enter them manually in the register.
To import accounts:
You can view the Import Data section to check the list of data you can upload directly to QuickBooks (see screenshot below). Since you can only import bank transactions, I recommend searching for a third-party application to help you import other data.
For more information, as well as how to enter opening balances for accounts in QuickBooks, I recommend the following article: Move your chart of accounts to QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to hit that Reply button if you have additional questions. Have a great day ahead.
When we try to import a bank statement (we have tried both CSV or .TXT) format we are unable to select the 'Continue' button which is grey.
On closer inspection of the code behind the scenes is fairly apparent why their might be a problem. There are over 2775 lines of error codes.
