Real Estate Companies and other business service should use which version of QB

It's fantastic that you're considering QuickBooks Online (QBO) for your real estate company, Jessie. Let me help you go through your options and find the best fit for your business.

Each version of QBO offers unique features tailored to various business needs. Here's a breakdown of the options to help you choose the perfect one:

  1. QuickBooks Simple Start: This is the most basic plan. It's suitable for sole proprietors or very small businesses that only need basic accounting functionalities.
  2. QuickBooks Essentials: This option offers more functionalities than Simple Start, including bill management and time tracking. It is good for small businesses that have more complexity in their accounting needs.
  3. QuickBooks Plus: This is often the most popular plan for small to medium-sized businesses, offering advanced accounting features, including project tracking, inventory tracking, and management tools. For a real estate business, the project tracking can be extremely helpful, allowing you to track income and expenses by property. If you also have a nails business and other services, Plus will give you the flexibility to handle the accounting needs across different services.
  4. QuickBooks Advanced: This is designed for larger businesses with more complex needs. This version offers advanced reporting, dedicated account support, and more automation tools. If your real estate business is large or growing rapidly, or if you have multiple businesses with complex accounting needs, this option is the best fit.

You can refer to this link for more information about QBO plans and pricing: Find a plan that's right for you.

Furthermore, after signing in to QBO, you can check out this article to help you get started: Get started with QuickBooks Online.
