After importing a statement into my account with, they aren’t showing up for review, despite a successful import message. The transactions are missing under 'For Review'.

There is a green checkmark on the bottom right on the account that I just uploaded the file. I did review all transaction of the last month. It shows "This account is up to date". I want to upload the file again to record another month. How can I fix this problem?

It can be challenging when you can't find the imported transactions, aoypossible-gmai. Not to worry, I'm here to help you locate them in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When you upload bank data, the transactions will be imported based on the date indicated in the file. It could be the reason you can't view them in the For Review tab. To fix this, I recommend sorting the dates. Doing so helps you modify the list of transactions from oldest to the latest. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and then select Transactions.
  2. Choose the bank account you've imported the data.
  3. Click the Date drop-down arrow to sort the date.
  4. Once done, you'll be successfully viewing the newest transactions.

In addition, make sure the Page Size is set to 300. This way, you'll be able to view them all. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon on the For review page. Then, scroll down to the bottom to make some changes. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.

Please keep me posted in the comments if you need additional assistance managing your transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care.

After importing a statement into my account with, they aren’t showing up for review, despite a successful import message. The transactions are missing under 'For Review'.

Hi there,

I've been following the discussion and advice here regarding QuickBooks transaction visibility issues, and I'm hoping to get some additional insight into a problem I'm facing.

I recently uploaded a statement to my QuickBooks "Nisachon" account, which included 143 transactions. The system confirmed a successful upload, but when I went to review these transactions under the 'Banking' or 'Transactions' tab, they were nowhere to be found. Instead, the account just shows a green checkmark, indicating everything is up to date.

On the other hand, my "Wanlapa" account displays an orange indicator with the number of transactions awaiting review – exactly as expected.

I've carefully checked the date ranges of the uploaded file for "Nisachon" to ensure there’s no overlap with previous uploads. Despite this, the transactions still aren't showing up for review. I've followed all the recommended steps mentioned here in the blog, but I'm still stuck with the same issue.

Any further advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm really keen to understand what might be causing this and find a solution.

Thanks in advance!

I know how to fix your concern about missing imported bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), aoy.

There are various sectors we can check to see why the transactions are unavailable from your bank feeds. With that, let me lay out these segments to start verifying and fixing the issue.

First, QuickBooks has an option where you can create a bank rule. This feature enables the application to categorise transactions from your bank automatically. Since you mentioned that your entries are unavailable from your For Review section, it could be that the rule applies and categorises them.

To verify, we can go to the Categorised tab in the banking menu. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Tap the Categorised tab and see your transactions.
  3. If you see the entry categorised as the incorrect account, you can unmatch and move it.

Otherwise, you can log in to your company file to a private or other supported browser. Doing so will eliminate common errors that hinder the application from working properly. To open an incognito window, you can follow these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)

Moreover, I added this article for further guidelines about categorizing entries and reconciling your bank. This is to keep your records accurate:

After importing a statement into my account with, they aren’t showing up for review, despite a successful import message. The transactions are missing under 'For Review'.

I've been following this thread closely and appreciate all the advice shared here. Unfortunately, I'm still facing an issue with QuickBooks that I haven't been able to resolve despite trying the suggested solutions.

I successfully uploaded and reviewed all transactions for October in my "Nisachon" account, and QuickBooks showed the account as up to date. However, when I uploaded the November statement, the transactions didn't appear for review, even though the upload seemed successful. This is puzzling because when I uploaded a file for a different, new account for the first time, everything worked fine, and the transactions were visible for review.

I've even tried accessing QuickBooks in an incognito window to rule out any browser-related issues, but still no luck. I've also checked the banking rules, and there are no specific settings that might be interfering with the upload.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How can I get the November file to update the account correctly? Any further insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I need these transactions to be visible for review to keep my financial records accurate.

Thanks in advance for any help!

After importing a statement into my account with, they aren’t showing up for review, despite a successful import message. The transactions are missing under 'For Review'.

I can see that you did everything you could to fix this banking issue.

We appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting solutions provided by my colleague. I've checked here on our end and there's no reported case about this one. Since the transactions are missing under the For Review tab when connecting to online banking, we can use the CSV file to upload the data. Beforehand, make sure it's in the correct format. After that, follow these steps to ensure you'll get the April and May transactions:

  1. Go to Transactions and then select Bank transactions.
  2. Tap the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions.
  3. Click the Link account drop-down menu and then Upload from file.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files, then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, choose the bank you want to add the transactions. Then, select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Press Yes.
  9. When you've accepted your transactions, hit Done.

I am also encountering this issue.  QB shows that my upload worked, but I can not find the transactions anywhere.  Did you ever find a solution?

After importing a statement into my account with, they aren’t showing up for review, despite a successful import message. The transactions are missing under 'For Review'.

I understand that not being able to see your imported bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can be inconvenient for you, VisionR. Please don't worry, as I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

There are several areas we can investigate to determine why your bank feeds are not showing the transactions. To better assist you, can you please let me know the name of the bank you are referring to? Your answer will help me identify the issue and provide you with an accurate resolution to your concern.

In the meantime, let me provide you with some steps to start verifying and fixing the issue. If you don’t see a transaction you expect to see, manually download the latest ones available. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Update.

Feel free to keep working during the update. When it's finished, check the Banking menu again for the missing transaction. It's likely in the For review section.

If the issue persists, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if the issue is related to your browser. You can start by openning an incognito window to prevent your browsing history from being saved. Here are the keyboard shortcuts based on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Alternatively, you can also use other supported browser. Doing so will eliminate common errors that hinder the application from working properly.

If you've tried the above steps and still can't find the transactions, it might be a bank-related issue. I recommend reaching out to your bank for help. You can ask if they're having maintenance or have an issue in downloading a bank transaction as they can assist and inform if they do have and help you resolve the issue.

Moreover, you can check out this article for more details and information on how to find transactions you recently downloaded or don’t see new ones: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online
