Exporting Estimates and Details of Estimates

Hi All,

I have created various estimates in QuickBooks Online.

I have details of Date, Individual Service Line items, and delivery dates of those items (Image attached).

I basically want to an analysis of how much I am expecting to recieve from Services the upcoming months.

So if I am able to export data, which can give me the Estimate Number, the Product/Service details and date, and amount, I can project how much I am expected to recieve in the upcoming months/days.

Any idea on how I can do this?

Utilize the trial period of TP Exporter to export your Estimate data out.

Exporting Estimates and Details of Estimates

I know a way on how we can export these data aside from the idea shared by Fiat Lux- ASIA, Sajeel.

We can run the Transaction List by Customer report and then export it to an Excel file.

Just a heads up, the PRODUCT/SERVICE column is not included in the report. However, we can take note of it through the Message displayed on statement field. I'll show you how:

  1. From the Sales tab, select Customers.
  2. Select your customer's name.
  3. Go to the Transaction List tab.
  4. Select the estimate.
  5. Take note of the product and enter it again in the Message displayed on statement field.
  6. Click Save and close.

Afterward, you're good to export the data into an Excel file:

  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. Enter Transaction List by Customer.
  3. Filter the Report period.
  4. Click the Customise button.
  5. Click the Filter dropdown.
  6. Select Estimate as the Transaction Type.
  7. Include Memo in the filter.
  8. Click Run report.
  9. Select the export button.

When you're ready to convert the estimate to an invoice, you can check these articles:
