How to export GSTR1 Consolidated report ?

I know the importance of filing your returns on time, @Vel5. That's why I'm here to guide you in exporting your GSTR1 report to an Excel file.

The GSTR1 report is available in QuickBooks as a summary along with a zoom-in capability that helps you see the transactions that make up your returns. You can pull it up through the GST returns section in the Reports menu's Standard tab. Once opened, you'll have to select the Export icon above it to export the said report to an Excel file for your returns. Please see the attached screenshot below for your reference.

You're able to save your GST related data (tax liability) directly on the GST portal and file your GSTR1 with the government without leaving QuickBooks. To further understand the components of the said report, I'm adding this article for your reference: Know more about GSTR-1 Summary and Detailed reports in QuickBooks. It carefully describes each section to guide you on how it has been calculated to make sure you'll be filing the right returns.

You're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about exporting your GST returns in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
